About Islamic Qalb Tuition

Assalamualaikum, and welcome to Islamic Qalb Tuition. My name is Iqra, and I’m the founder of Islamic Qalb Tuition, as well as the host of “Learn Quran with Islamic Qalb Tuition.” For over ten years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching adult women and children how to recite the Holy Quran and other Quranic topics in masjids across London and independently.

I started this endeavour in 2018 as I wanted to provide flexible learning options to adult women and children. The topics I teach include Tajweed, Qaida, Holy Quran recitation, and assisting with the memorisation of various Surahs, Kalimas, and Duas.

All lessons are taught online, allowing you or your children to learn these topics from the comfort of your home. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to teach many students across the United Kingdom, particularly in London and the South East, but I’ve also taught students in the East of England, South West England, and as far as Scotland.

My Quran Teaching Journey

Teaching others how to recite the Holy Quran and other Quranic topics has long been an ambition of mine. It’s something I’ve been involved with ever since I graduated from university in 2013. I began my journey by learning from some of the most renowned Quran teachers at some of the biggest masjids in East London. A few months later, I started teaching children under their direct supervision. This allowed me to learn first-hand how to teach the Quran in a way that’s caring, engaging, and encourages students to learn.

I am incredibly passionate and serious about teaching the next generation how to recite the Holy Quran and to love their religion. My aim is not to just teach them how to recite the Quran but provide them with the fundamentals and tools they need to live successfully as Muslims. I strive to ensure all my students recite the Holy Quran with a genuine love for it, so they make it a consistent habit throughout their lives.

Likewise, I also find great joy in teaching adult women. I find it truly rewarding to help them develop their Holy Quran recitation skills and see their confidence flourish as they achieve their desired results. My teaching goes beyond just recitation; I aim to increase their love for the Quran and, InshAllah, strengthen their Iman.

My Approach to Teaching Quran

I aim to provide all my students with a friendly, welcoming, and encouraging environment where they will enjoy coming to learn. InshAllah, my teaching will be beneficial and bring you closer to the Deen.

My lessons are available to students of all abilities, including beginners, those refreshing their knowledge, or those new to Islam. If you’re interested in learning these topics and speak English, I welcome the opportunity to teach you and will strive to provide you with a learning plan that accommodates your requirements.

The Learn Quran with Islamic Qalb Tuition video series aims to teach Muslim women and children how to recite the Quran correctly at a pace and time that suits them. The episodes will start with learning the different Arabic letters and how to pronounce them, before moving on to Tajweed, the Qaida, and how to recite the Quran.
